Aidan Russell is an all-around character introduced in 2020. He is a student at Rainbow High that focuses in Fashion Design with a second focus in Music.
Character Description
Aidan is an OG of The A's, a group he started with fellow classmates Ainsley and Avery on their first week of classes at Rainbow High. As a trusted upperclassman, Aidan enjoys working as a Fine Arts teacher's assistant, having taught such student favorite classes such as The Art of Music. His latest challenge is becoming a fashion focus, a move his fellow A's encouraged him to make after Aidan said he felt a little boxed-in working on music 24/7. Aidan is loyal and one of the hardest working students at Rainbow High, and when he isn't helping to stop disagreements between his fellow A's, he can be found helping the younger students with projects or creating a new beat for his latest music project.

Physical Appearance[]
Aidan is a thin teenage boy with fair skin and very thick brown eyebrows, he has bright blue eyes that transitions to a cool purple in the iris, Aidan's hair base color is silver with multi-colored highlights in lavender, mint green and light blue, his hair is styled into a thickly gel faux hawk with gray flocking at the sides of his head.
On the animated series in Season 4, Aidan's hair is simply white.
Outfit[]
Aidan wears a sheer mesh jacket in a powdery gray color. Underneath the jacket, Aidan wears a white T-shirt with a printed "RAINBOW" logo in black with an safety pin on the right side. He also wears gray shorts with a silver chain with an RH logo. For his footwear, he wears translucent white boots with white laces along with white socks with a beacon grey-colored "RAINBOW" monogram. He accesorizes with a silver chain his neck.

Aidan, also spelt Aiden, is an Irish and Celtic name translating to "little fire", being based off the Celtic god Aodh.
Russell[]
Russell is a common surname with Irish and Scottish origins.

Avery Styles[]
Aidan is one of The A's, along with Avery Styles and Ainsley. The three of them are very close friends and are prefects to the other students. When Ainsley left Rainbow High for Shadow High, Aidan comforted Avery while being mad at Ainsley.
Ainsley Slater[]
They were close when Ainsley was still at Rainbow High. However, when she left, Aidan was pretty mad at her. Although he later made up with her.
Kia Hart[]
While not much is known about them, Aidan was introduced to Ainsley and Avery by Kia.
Poppy Rowan[]
He also seems to be on good terms with Poppy, who is in his Art of Music class. He is very impressed by her musical ability and shows her work to Avery, who then invites her to DJ on their Color Block Party.

- October 2th, 2020: Aidan makes his animated debut in "When the GLAM Hits The Fan".
- April 9th, 2021: Aidan has a major prominent role focused about him in the episode "All About Aidan".
- January 26th, 2023: His Series 5 doll's stock photos are leaked on various websites.
Trivia
- In the credits of the first episode of the animated series, his name was spelled "Aiden".
- He is the only male character in the A's and the only one that is not a Special Edition release.
- He was the first male character to be introduced in the animated series.
- Despite being listed as specifically “Amethyst”, he is most likely based on the color of “Beacon Grey”.[2]
- Prior to Aidan’s release, his colour was confirmed to be grey. However it has been changed to purple probably to differentiate from Shadow High. Despite this change, much of his appearance remains to be grey.
- Some of the real-life inspirations for Aidan's main outfit include:
- His t-shirt appears to resemble Versace's Black Logo Pin T-shirt.
- His "transparent" jacket resembles Louis Vuitton's Men's See-Through Transparent T-Shirt from their Spring-Summer 2020 Collection.
