"Amaya's Time" is the fifteenth episode released for the animated series Rainbow High, and the fifteenth episode released of Season 1.
Official Description
Amaya's been crushin' on Rainbow High's football & theater star River Kendall! 😱 After finding out, our girls try to encourage her to ask him out! From viral dance lessons with Violet to a makeover by Jade, Amaya can't help but feel hopeless... Little does she know, all Amaya has to do is be herself! Sparks are flying at Rainbow High! ✨
Plot
Amaya and Skyler start off the episode walking the halls, where she trips and drops all of her books. River sees this from across the halls and helps her pick them up. Amaya is very flattered by this and he then goes back in the halls. Skyler then notices how distracted Amaya is and realizes she likes River. Sunny and the rest of her friends find out, and Ruby even offers to ask him out for Amaya. She denies this and tries to do it herself, failing hilariously. She then decides to try with help, starting with Violet's help.
Violet's idea is to have Amaya dance, with Violet being the one to film it. While Amaya feels unsure, they try it out and it becomes obvious Amaya can't dance. While they film River sees her and compliments her, which distracts Amaya and makes her trip. When River helps her up, she runs away in embarrassment. Jade then helps her next, by having her wear her brand new mood makeup. Amaya at first looks wonderful, but after getting nervous the makeup turns her bright red, causing more embarrassment.
Now back with her friends Amaya feels helpless, certain that River doesn't like her anymore. Feeling bad her friends try to fix things, and they do this by telling River where to find Amaya. While she is looking for hair dye, River finds her and strikes up a conversation, using this to eventually ask Amaya out. She is shocked and excited and instantly says yes, and River happily leaves her to her friends. Everyone celebrates, and Sunny reminds Amaya she still has the makeup on, which comically turned red again, ending the episode on a comedic note.
