Avery Styles is an all-around character introduced in 2020. She is a student at Rainbow High that focuses in Fashion Design.
Character Description
Avery is all about haute couture. As a kid, she spent all the pennies in her piggy bank on fashion, and now at Rainbow High, she's right where she was born to be: on the Fashion Design track. Avery Styles showing off her work and the work of her classmates. In her second year, she was so inspired by her friends at Rainbow High that she started the school's first pop-up shop for students. The shop is so popular it's now a regular feature at the school store and they just launched their website!
Avery saves her most special new designs for her private Fashion Studio - get an invite there, and you're gold. Avery's fave past time is party planning and putting on events for her friends. And this year, thanks to all of her amazing work in and out of class, she was made prefect along with her BFF's Aidan and Ainsley. Go Queen Avery!

Physical Appearance[]
Avery has tan skin, lavender eyes, and often wears wigs to cover her bubblegum pink pixie cut hair. Sometimes her wig is seen with bangs or a side part, but currently she is seen with a holographic tinsel-decorated lilac wig. Her makeup showcases lavender, purple and silver eyeshadow with mulberry-colored lips.
Outfit[]
Avery's doll comes with multiple outfits, though her main outfit is a black short-sleeved shirt with the word "RAINBOW" written in gold and underlined with a rainbow stripe over it. She often wears holographic clothing, different from other rainbow-themed characters who have the exact rainbow.
Avery also wears a holographic, strapless leather dress with studs on the belt around her waist area and a zipper running down in the middle, and fake flapped-patch pockets on both sides of her hips.
As a Junior High student, she wears a matching black with rainbow trim skirt and top. For her footwear, she wears high black and white heels. She accesorizes with a necklace with different colored stars.
Personality
Avery, alongside her friends Aidan and Ainsley, takes her popularity seriously and comes off as somewhat snobby and aloof. That said, she hasn't shown herself to be outwardly hostile to any of the other characters. She's simply aware of her status and enjoys the relative position of power that it grants her. She's open to acknowledging talent when she sees it and offers praise where it's due.
Etymology
Avery[]
Avery is a common French and English girls' name that means "ruler of elves", both referencing her being the leader of the group, and wordplay of to "every" in "every styles".
Styles[]
Styles is a rare English surname, but in this case, it refers to fashion and design.

Friends[]
Aidan Russell[]
While not as in depth as her relationship with Ainsley, Avery is still close friends with Aidan and appreciates him as part of The A's, best seen by her helping him get his confidence back for football.
Kia Hart[]
Kia is said to be the one to have brought the A's together as a group.
Robin Sterling[]
After being invited to her sleepover, Robin happily greets Avery, showcasing a previous friendship. As they are both upperclassman, it is possible that they attend classed together.
Ainsley Slater[]
Avery and Ainsley were once best friends, had problems and conflicts after the events of the episode The Eclipse - Phase Two, Avery is very shaken to learn that Ainsley would leave Rainbow High without even warning. Their relationship was quite troubled and they were teasing each other until they finally understood in "Rainbow Vision Finale Part 2", in which Avery and Aidan give Ainsley a medallion symbolizing their friendship, which would continue even in different schools. Avery and Ainsley are currently on good terms.
Skyler Bradshaw[]
During Project Rainbow, they are seen hanging out and talking so it should be assumed that they should be friends.
Reina "Glitch " Crowne[]
During Team Mix-Up, both Glitch and Avery became friends and made an agreement to work on their project together. Even if their team didn't win, they had an connectable bond with each other.

After rejecting her designs for Radiant Week, Avery shows annoyance to Holly and thinks she has a superiority complex.
Timeline
- September 6th, 2020: Avery Styles is revealed.
- September 15th, 2020: Avery makes her first 3D animated appearance in Fashion Studio Animated Stop Motion.
- September 15th, 2020: Her doll and fashion studio is released.
- October 2nd, 2020: Avery makes her second animated appearance with speaking lines in When the GLAM Hits The Fan.
- June 28th, 2023: She makes her release in Rainbow Junior High Special Edition.
Trivia
- Avery was listed as the Toy Book 2021 Doll of the Year Finalist. Along with all of the other Series 1 dolls.
- On Avery's Junior High box, the symbol of Virgo is shown, implying her star sign is Virgo.
- She has the same name as a character from Moxie Girlz, which comes from the same company.
- It has been mentioned that she has a talent for designing and curating fashions, as well as creating custom shoes. She frequently lends out her custom designs to her fellow students on the condition that they're returned in pristine condition.[2]
- Despite Avery being released as a Series 1 deluxe doll, the Rainbow High website incorrectly says she's a part of Series 2.
- The original prototype of the doll did not have bangs, but that was later changed.
- Her animated series look has a necklace with rainbow stars and rings, while the doll does not. She's one of the few characters to wear accessories that the doll didn't include; like a necklace, bracelets or a ring.
- In the very first episode of the animated series, "When the GLAM Hits The Fan", Avery can be seen in an exclusive wig that does not come with her set, being made entirely of tinsel and with no bangs. In all of her other appearances, she is seen with her regular purple hair as she wears on her doll, but still, her former wing can still be seen in her Fashion Studio.
- Her former wig is actually very similar to Amaya's Series 1 hair in the animated series: therefore, it is heavily possible that Amaya's Series 1 hair is in fact a recolor of Avery's former wig (as everything in the hair's structure is the same).

- Many fans consider her Fashion Studio wigs to resemble the wigs worn by Nicki Minaj.
- One of her Fashion Studio tops resembles Gucci's Over-sized Washed Logo T-shirt.
- One of her Fashion Studio shoes resembles Vetements's white ankle-sock boots.
- One of her Fashion Studio jackets resembles JoJo Siwa's glittery jackets.
- One of her Fashion Studio skirts appear to resemble the Illustrated People's Octopus Skirt.
