"BFF Blowup!" is the twentieth episode released for the animated series Rainbow High, and the second episode of Season 2.

Ainsley is doing the impossible... double-focusing in accessory design AND fashion design! She invited Sunny, Poppy, and Ruby to check out her new outfits, but they aren't even fashion focuses! The rest of the group is feeling super hurt, and the fight is getting out of control. Will this turn of events bring up past drama? Will these friends ever see eye to eye again? 👀
Plot
Picking up from the previous episode, Bella enters the dorms to see all of her friends fighting. Violet reveals that she, Skyler, and Amaya are all upset that Ruby, Poppy, and Sunny all went to see Ainsley's new fashion designs without them. Bella is surprised, learning that Ainsley has started a double focus in accessory and fashion design. The girls continue arguing, causing Bella to leave, not before asking about Jade. Ruby then opens up, explaining Ainsley was nervous about lots of people seeing her work, with her not even showing them to her best friend Avery. The girls then talk it out and seem to make up, excluding Violet however.
Violet bursts out at Sunny, feeling betrayed for not being invited. Sunny then says that if they split up they can make more friends, something Violet once said to Sunny. Violet is offended and dramatically leaves, claiming Sunny thinks she's a bad friend. After the dust settles, Sunny goes looking for Violet, finding her almost chopping her hair off. They then talk where it's revealed how guilty Violet feels about lying to Sunny about their dorms. Sunny shows that it did hurt her feelings, but that she has forgiven Violet. The girls then hug and feel at peace with each other.
After this, Bella is shown wandering into Avery's Fashion Studio where she runs into Avery. The girls talk and Bella reveals how she feels uneasy at Rainbow High now, with Avery revealing the trouble she's been having with Ainsley. With both girls bonding, Avery decides to do something special for Bella. Back in the dorms, Violet happily comes back to find Jade wondering how Bella is doing. The episode then cuts back to Bella again, being shown to be taking a joyride with Avery, ending the episode.
