Background Characters are characters in media that are made to fill up rooms and exaggerate scenes due to the limited amount of characters. Given their lack of importance, most background characters tend to be recolors or reuse accessories from more important characters. When a background character receives a name, they are moved into top navigation under "Non-doll characters", but they keep their Background Character status until they are given substantial speaking lines in the show, or a doll.
