Skyler and Amaya are on uniform design, Ruby's taking over the emblem, Jade's on hair & makeup, Poppy's designing pom poms, and Sunny & Violet are creating cheers! Will they impress cheer squad members Karma Nichols & Stella Monroe? Will Amaya's stellar cheerleading moves catch Rainbow High's dreamy QB River Kendall's eye? Ms. Wright has a special project for the girls to work on: design new uniforms for the Rainbow High Cheer Squad! Can they complete the designs AND come up with their own dance in 48 hours??
It's a team effort! Skyler, Amaya and Ruby are creating the designs, Jade is doing hair and makeup, Poppy’s making pompoms, and Sunny and Violet are creating the dance! Because each girl has her own unique style, they create a rainbow of looks so everyone can let their true colors shine!

The girls are called to the auditorium by Ms. Wright, who gives them an extra challenge in creating new outfit designs for the cheerleaders and performing a cheer in the outfits. After many disagreements, the team decides to make a different outfit design for each cheerleader. They later perform a cheer in their new outfits, which impresses the judges and Ms. Wright. One of the judges, River Kendall, compliments Amaya.

- One of the cheer uniforms from the 80's appears to be a reference to one of the cheerleader uniforms from the Monster High doll line, as well as using a similar font to the Monster High logo.
- The 70's uniform also uses the same font as the iconic Barbie logo.
- The cheer uniform design from the 90's are inspired by the cheer squad "The Toros" uniform in the Bring It On film which the movie plot also features cheerleading.
- This episode was later re-posted as "Cheer Design Challenge!" on May 10th, 2023 on YouTube for the rewatch of Season 1.[1]
