Coco Vanderbalt is an all-around character introduced in 2022. She is a student at Rainbow High that focuses in Digital Media.
Character Description
Coco Vanderbalt is ALWAYS networking, always on the phone and always on to the next big thing. She has an eye and ear for great talent, and her goal in life is to be the best agent, manager, promoter and hype-woman the world has ever seen. Get in good with her, and you're set for LIFE. She's an incredible artist and knows how to use her skills to art direct and connect students together for big, incredible projects.
Coco is hilarious joyful, loud and proud - and at Rainbow Vision, nearly every contestant is her client. She's playing every side (and angle) and making sure everyone feels like they're her one and only. BUT, she really does mean what she says - she wants to be the best for her clientele and believes they're all capable of winning. Coco's greatest quality is making everyone believe in themselves as much as she believes in them.

Physical Appearance[]
Coco is a teenage girl with a medium build and rich dark brown skin. She has long cobalt blue hair tied into a half-up half-down pigtails with braids in the front and she also has baby hairs, She has bright brown eyes and she wears cobalt eyeshadow and glossy metallic brown lipstick.
Outfits[]
Coco's first outfit consists of a white long sleeve top with cobalt graphic prints. She wears a cobalt zip up skirt with darker blue color patching and white outlines resembling a cargo skirt. On top of that, she wears a sneaker corset with different hues of (mostly cobalt) and white shoe laces at the front. She pairs this with wears cobalt platform boots with openings at the front.
For her second outfit, she wears white faux leather dress with different blue colors of mostly cobalt and she wears a white with cobalt bomber jacket with graphic prints and patches on top of that. She pairs this with white and light cobalt ankle strap heels with mesh white socks.
Personality
She is hilarious, joyful, loud and proud-and at Rainbow Vision, nearly every contestant is her client and makes sure everyone feels like they're her one and only and capable of winning. She can also be very demanding and bossy until she gets what she wants. This is shown multiple times as she works for The Rainbow Divas, with her pushing to get them their dressing space. She is also shown to be very persuasive and good with people, being able to always provide for her clients.
Etymology
Coco[]
Coco is a French name that references cocoa beans, the main ingredient of chocolate, which could be a reference to her skin tone, but appears to actually be a reference to her theme color.
Vanderbalt[]
Vanderbalt, properly spelt as Vanderbilt, is a rare Dutch and German surname. In this instance it's possibly used as a reference to Vanderbilt University, a private college located in Tennessee, and is also used to reference cobalt, her theme color.

The Rainbow Divas[]
Coco is their manager and always gives them whatever they need. They seem to be on good terms.
Sabrina St. Cloud and Delilah Fields[]
When Sabrina leaves the stage after her solo performance in Rainbow Vision finalists, Coco offers to work with her on her solo career. Sabrina agrees and offers Delilah to be musical partner and songwriter, something she agrees to.
Neon Shadow[]
They are open to work with Coco as their manager, even though she's a Rainbow High student since they haven't signed a manager yet, Uma said she just needs to watch their performance and they'll talk later.

Reina "Glitch" Crowne[]
Coco seems to be a huge fan of Glitch and her music. When Glitch sings her song, Coco is in awe and seems to be very impressed. Coco asks Reina to work with her, but she quickly declines because she already found a manager and Coco is a Rainbow High student.

They are seen hanging out at the rainbow union so, they should be good friends

- April 1st, 2022: Shadow High's Instagram account teases Series 4 for April Fools Day.

- May 23rd, 2022: She was officially released to buy on Amazon, and in stores.
- May 27th, 2022: She makes her debut in the episode, "The Eclipse - Phase Two.
- July 22nd, 2022: In the episode, "Drama in the Wings", she gets her first speaking lines.

- Her surname Vanderbalt, is a play on the one prominent and wealthy Vanderbilt Family Surname. Because of this, some sources state her name as such.
- She seems to borrow inspiration from Black American rappers specifically Bree Runway and Lil' Kim.
