Looks

Physical Appearance

Delfina has a white complexion with Persian blue hair. She has minimal makeup and has a medium build. Her hair is usually styled into two ponytails on top with white ponytail holders.

Outfits

For her robe outfit, she wears a Persian blue robe that has the lettering “RAINBOW” all over it in the same color. She also wears a black undershirt adorned underneath. For footwear, she wears Persian blue stiletto heels.

Personality

While more has yet to be shown, Delfina is portrayed as a kind model, and she can be seen encouraging Karla to push forward with her ideas.

Relationships

Karla Choupette

They are seen talking throughout the episode The Art of Fashion. She expressed concern that Karla’s design for her dress was too loud and had too many patterns and ideas in it, and comforted her after Jewel expressed the same criticism.

Delfina encouraged Karla to look deep in herself to find her own vision and passion for a design idea that really spoke out to her, and told a story of how the plates meant a lot to her because her mother had a collection of them at home that the rest of her family ate a meal on every day.

Etymology

Delfina

Delfina is a variation of Delphin who was a dolphin-shaped daemon who served the god of the sea, Poseidon. It is also a reference to Delphine, a pattern of china plates that her outfit was based off of.

Young

Young has a Germanic origin; related to Dutch jong and German jung, also to youth; from an Indo-European root shared by Latin juvenis .

Trivia

• While it can be assumed she is a Shadow High student due to her color scheme and skin tone, it is never confirmed if she is, or if she is even a student.
• Delfina strongly shares her color palette with Uma, though this is likely unintentional.
• According to leaks on social medias, she was going to come out as a doll, but was then cancelled likely because of poor sales.
