Official Description
There is a LOT going on both on stage and off! For starters, all of the underclassmen from the different schools competing in Rainbow Vision have to participate in workshops run by upperclassmen! 😬 Also, auditions are still happening on-stage, and it turns out Glitch is going to need to perform a song! Who will make the cut? ✂️ And will Glitch find her voice?
Plot
The episode starts with Naomi talking to Lila, Bella, and Nicole about her set workshop. When Lila and Bella have no idea what the workshop is, she gets annoyed and says their best work will be somewhere between basic and mediocre, annoying Lila and Bella. She spots The Assistant and says that he will do the lighting for the set. When he happily agrees, they all walk out and the scene cuts to Coco talking to the first years Ruby, Emi, Skyler, Delilah, and Amaya. She gets a phone call and tells them to only put red candies in Meline's dressing room. When she gets off the conversation, she, Avery, and Ainsley talk about their mottos. However, Avery and Ainsley get into a fight, which Coco disbands.
Some time later, Coco is talking on the phone when she spots Glitch. She ends the call and rushes to Glitch, saying that she is a huge fan of her and tells her that if she needs any help with her opening song for the semifinals, Coco can help her. Glitch quickly rushes to the dressing room where Stella, Karma, and Margot crowd her and ask questions. Veronica leads her away and tells her that showtime is in 10 minutes and she better not flop in her big host musical number again. The members of Neon Shadow talk about her freeze up and are concerned about this time. Glitch goes to the empty auditorium and sings I Will Find My Voice.
The scene switches to Day two of Rainbow Vision auditions with Glitch announcing The Royal Three getting all of the spotlights. Next, she announces Stella, who sings a song about tea, but gets no spotlights. Meanwhile, backstage, Veronica asks the the Assistant to hand out some papers, which he is hesitant for doing at first, but when she says please, he gladly agrees. Laurel and Holly are in the audience complaining about Glitch and Laurel calls the Assistant, but he doesn't come. They suspect something is up. Finally, the last contestant, Harper passes and Glitch announces that the contestants that got all 3 spotlights will move on to the semifinals. A board showing that Rainbow Dream, Harper, Meena, The Royal Three, Neon Shadow, Natasha, The Rainbow Divas, Those Darn Dolls, and Kingsley Boys move on.
