Monique: I am Monique. It rhymes with unique, and my team is going to make something you've never seen!
Monique: No? Oh, okay, we'll keep workshopping it.
Sunny: Here to kick off today's challenge, Maria Garcia!
Maria: This week our teams will be designing for a pair of very special guests with very different tastes.
Maria: Sunny and Luna, bring them in please.
Sunny: Sure! Our guest judges are-
Sunny and Luna: Us!
Maria: You'll be designing a new look for one of these two iconic sisters. But you can't talk to your model about what they want.
Sunny: I'll tell Shadow High what to design for Luna.
Luna: And I'll tell Rainbow High what to design for Sunny, you're welcome.
Maria: This week's team leaders will be Skyler and Zooey. Now get to work! Time to let twinspiration strike!
Sunny: I'm excited, but also a little nervous. I hope I do a good job of representing what Luna likes.
Luna: (Chuckles) Oh, this is going to be fun.
Sunny: Luna's outfits may seem like a fashion revolution, but they're actually more of a fashion evolution.
Zooey: (Confused) Meaning?
Sunny: She always carries a piece from her current style into her new look, so it still feels like Luna.
Luna: She may not even know it yet, but Sunny's ready for a more sophisticated look. And you're going to give it to her.
Luna: (Confidently) Oh, trust me, Sunny loves surprises. So let's lose all hints of cutesy kawaii and surprise her with some volume, some drama, something big!
Olivia: Drama I can do. Okay, we're thinking glam, we're thinking gorgeous.
Priscilla: Oh! Oh! Oh! We should revamp her makeup too, something a little more edgy.
Skyler: Good thing we've got a makeup superstar on our team. What do you think, Jade?
Jade: I think I'm lowkey zapped with Rainbow Vision and now Project Rainbow back to back. But I'm so here for this makeup upgrade. Make-upgrade? Oh, boy. I'm tired.
Zooey: Okay, now stop me if you have something better, but I have a vision of what Luna's outfit needs to be.
Ainsley: This is going to be iconic.
Shanelle: I love the silhouette. It's spunky and edgy.
Zooey: I'm not buying Sunny's tired old style "evolution".
Karla: (Nervous) Definitely not hating this design, but I'm worried it's missing the classic Luna touch.
Kim: Hmm, taffeta could work. It's stiff, so it's easy to shape.
Michelle: I'm thinking organza extravaganza!
Skyler: (Excited)How about the biggest, poofiest, most voluminous tulle?
Olivia: Yes! Theatrical, but classy. I love it.
Skyler: But it's Sunny, so we can't go too formal. What about a jacket up top to keep it low key?
Sunny: It's check in time!
Maria: Well, I love the silhouette. It's edgy and very now, but I'm not totally getting Luna yet. Something's missing, and I can't quite put my finger on it.
Maria: Wow, that's a lot of tulle. Sunny's very active, I'm worried it'll be hard for her to move in so much fabric.
Sunny: You can say it like it is, Maria. I may be high fashion, but I'm also a klutz. There's no way I'm not tripping all over that.
Maria: Well, you have three hours left, and both teams have some work to do. I suggest you get to it designers.
Skyler: (Freaking out) Ugh, fashion emergency, team!
Kim: Sunny's one of your besties, Skyler. What do you think?
Skyler: I have no idea! Oh, I'm totally in my head. I don't even know what I did wrong. Clearly, I'm too close to it.
Victoria: This would be so much simpler if we could just talk to Sunny.
Skyler: (Gasp) I've got the next best thing.
Violet: Hello! And go team Rainbow!
Violet: It's a good thing they called me because I know Sunny better than anyone. Like they say, sisters come and go, but besties are forever!
Violet: Okay, I have notes and a box of inspo from Sunny's closet.
Violet: First off, that skirts got to go. In addition to being a total trip hazard, it's covering up the super cool clogs and socks you made that are so Sunny. So bye bye tulle.
Violet: Here's Sunny's favorite tee.
Skyler: That'll look great under the jacket!
Avery: (Chuckles) Love it! And what if we use Sunny's illustrations on the skirt?
Olivia: Yes! Oh, and something form fitting. Hmm, something the opposite of tulle. Maybe vinyl?
Victoria: Oh! Can you hand me Mr. Snugs? I have an idea.
Violet: Perfect!
Zooey: Well, I still think it's perfect as is.
Glitch: You heard the critiques.
Shanelle: And the rest of us all agree with Maria, something's missing.
Zooey: Seriously?
Zooey: Okay, okay. I have an idea.
Sunny: (Extra excited) I love, love, love my look! Seriously, the only thing cuter than this fit is the super kawaii clutch, formerly known as Snugs.
Luna: So smart of you to bring back my signature silver top. The whole outfit feels cohesive, the lace details really pop! Nice job!
Karla: From Luna that's a rave! I just hope Maria Garcia sees it that way though.
Sunny: Luna, you helped them create the perfect look for me. You really do get me!
Luna: Don't look at me, I tried to level you up!
Victoria: Yeah, uh actually, Skyler called in an assist from Violet.
Sunny: (Flattered) She did?
Sunny: (To Violet) Awe!
Maria: Both teams did a great job, but this week's winner is team Rainbow High!
Maria: Skyler, by calling in Vi, you flipped the script and saved your team from a big fashion fail. And Victoria, that fabulous bear purse was a stroke of genius!
Sunny: So, congratulations Victoria, you are this week's winner!
Luna: And now the hard part, for one of you, this is the end of the runway.
Maria: The designer being eliminated is Zooey.
Maria: Zooey, today was tough because everyone did a great job. A handbag would've completed the look and may have saved you from elimination. So Zooey, pick up your backpack, you're heading back to class.
Sunny: Congratulations Rainbow High, you're going into next week on top!
