Emi Vanda is an all-around character introduced in 2021. She is a student at Rainbow High that focuses in Visual Arts.
Character Description
Emi paints everything, and she paints on everything. Every moment not spent making art is a moment wasted for Emi. Her parents always wanted her to be a doctor or a lawyer, but her passion is art. She's finally in a place where she's able to do art ALL THE TIME-just like she always dreamed! She can express herself for who she is. vs who her parents want her to be.
A little angsty, a bit rebellious, kind of dark, a touch of moody, super dry and sarcastic and never boring, Emi is the only member of the team Gabriella doesn’t have under her thumb.

Physical Appearance[]
Emi is a fair-skinned teenage girl with a medium build. She has straight, orchid purple hair with darker streaks that is parted down the middle, and purple eyes. Her makeup consists of heavy orchid purple eyeshadow and magenta lips. Her preferred style is described as being very edgy and dark, with many of her pieces incorporating the color black as an accent.
Outfit[]
She wears a black hoodie with an embroidered necklace and a quilted bright orchid mini purse with gold chains as its strap, as well as bright orchid ribbons for drawstrings. The word "RAINBOW" is embroidered in the hoodie in white just below the neckline. Both of the sleeves have zipper openings and carabiners hanging from the shoulders. She also wears a dark orchid pleated mini skirt. As for her shoes, she wears dark orchid thigh-high boots with a lavender "RH" pattern, a black ribbon tying them together at the knee, and bright orchid soles.
Emi's second outfit consists of a light orchid with short-sleeved crop hoodie with "RAINBOW" embroidered in black just below the neckline over a lavender long-sleeved crop top with orchid plaid details and orchid graffiti like print that says "RAINBOW HIGH", For her skirt she wears a black pencil skirt with silver buckles and 2 black straps looping from front to back, For her shoes she wears light orchid high heeled mules with black soles and golden heels that resemble the letters "R" and "H", held on her feet with orchid ribbons wrapped around her ankles and tied in bows acting as straps (which appear to be loosely inspired by the Gucci “Lisa” boots), as well as white socks with a black crescent moon pattern.
Personality
She is described to be a little angsty, a bit rebellious, and kind of dark, with a touch of moodiness. She is the only one from her runway group brave enough to stand up to Gabriella. Despite this, she is shown to be very kind and empathetic, and has a tendency to show respect to those she is friends with.

Vanda[]
Vanda is a genus of orchid flowers that are commonly used as houseplants. In Emi's case, it's used to reference her flower and orchid themed color palette.

On The Vi Life, its revealed that Emi and Ruby like to do jigsaw puzzles together at the rainbow union. They even decide to work on the same Radiant Week project but are seen to be struggling with big ideas.

Emi and Gabriella have very different personalities that often clash. Emi has said that, unlike the rest of her runway group, she doesn't let Gabriella boss her around. In "Roomie Drama! Featuring Gabriella and Emi!" Violet got Emi on The Vi Life and Emi wrote a song for Gabriella with Daria, Gabriella thought her lyrics were terrible but she didn't hate them and the girls made up.
