Jett Dawson is an all-around character introduced in 2021. She is a student at Rainbow High that focuses in Fashion Design & Textile Design.
Character Description
Jett is back at Rainbow High after a quarter abroad interning with a few major textile makers in East Asia, and she has learned a lot. It's overwhelming for her to get back up to speed with everything she's missed during the first couple months of the school year, but Jett loves it. She lives for the pressure, the excitement, and the social intricacies of Rainbow High. That's how she went from being The Waitlist Kid to the IT Girl!

Physical Appearance[]
Jett appears to be an East Asian teenage girl with fair skin and dull almond-shaped purple to rainbow eyes. Her hair is long, half being a shiny black while the other side is complete rainbow. She has squared bangs, and the back upper half of her hair is tied up into a small bun, leaving the rest of her hair out flowing down her back. For her makeup, she has sparkling pale silver eyeshadow applied with white graphic liner and rose red lipstick that sometimes appear as coral or in a gradient color.
Outfits[]
In her main outfit, Jett wears a black and white hoodie printed all over with initials of RH with a circular disk on the center written "RAINBOW" around it, layered with a white belted denim jacket accented with black lines. Her skirt is black and detailed with white sketch lines with buttons at the front and the word "Rainbow High" printed sideways. She puts on sheer stockings with sharpie-like marker scribbles (most likely a reference Moschino’s S/S 2019 collection), fingerless black leather gloves with RH on top, and lastly pairs her doodle-inspired outfit with white high-top sneakers.
Her second outfit is a gown with a black sleeveless top with a metallic silver "Rainbow" graphic and a red peplum skirt with a black "Rainbow" graphic. The whole outfit has silver lines all over it to mimic a doodle/sketch look.
Personality
Jett is very talented, as Krystal states she's award winning and knows everything about the catwalk and how to look right when strutting down one. She is also shown to be somewhat calculated and stoic, not being particularly talkative. She seems very intimidating, but so nice when you actually get the nerve to speak to her. She is a master of the quick change act and has been an intern all over the world.

Jett, more often spelt as Jet, is an uncommon name that's a direct reference to the black mineral known as jet.
Dawson[]
Dawson is a Scottish surname that translates to "son of David".

Amaya Raine[]
Jett sees lots of potential and personality within Amaya, and Amaya feels similarly. Jett in particular loves teaching and critiquing up and coming designers like Amaya. Something that is a shock to the characters and audience, Jett also lets Amaya know that she was on the waitlist just like her, and that she should never give up.
Holly and Laurel De'Vious[]
The twins are shown to have great respect for Jett, even being the ones to personally introduce her back to the school, and to the audience. They also hired her as their personal designer for some outfit designs as said in Kontent with Karma.
Lily Cheng[]
Both of them are revealed to be close friends as Jett even mentions how carefully Lily's grandmother works to Amaya. They are passionate about fashion and share their love of it.

- December 2020: A rainbow colored eye with a star in it is found on AliExpress, and it is heavily theorized this eye is hers due to the similarity in appearance.
- January 31st, 2021: She's featured in an episode of the Rainbow High vlog series, being on the cover of The SCENE.
- June 11th, 2021: Jett makes her first 3D animated appearance in the episode "The Final Runway Show".
- June 22nd, 2021: Her doll pictures are officially leaked, including a set.
- June 28th, 2021: Her official doll is revealed through the Rainbow High Instagram.
- July 1st, 2021: Her doll package pictures are shown with her character artwork at the back.
- August 3rd, 2021: She was officially released to purchase at major retailers.
Trivia
- The name Jett Dawson was originally going to be Krystal Bailey’s name though it was removed last minute, the name was then given to Jett with the reason most likely being that they already had the name trademarked but didn’t want to let it go to waste.
- Her name is misspelled as Jet from her bio ribbon flag on the official website, and for some reason they haven't fixed this.
- She has an extremely similar hair style and color to influencer Karyna Rangel, causing many theories that Karyna was Jett’s inspiration. This however has not been confirmed, and is most likely unintended.
- Her style is inspired by doodles and Trompe-l'oeil fashion, which gives the clothes an illusion as if it was drawn like a cartoon.
- Her style appears to be inspired by Moschino's Spring 2019 Ready-to-Wear collection, emphasizing "magic marker squiggles and dots".
- Jett has a similar appearance to Luna Eclipse, from Fantasy Friends, with both being black-haired characters with rainbow accents.
- She is the first collector doll of the franchise.
- Jett is confirmed to be accepted from the waitlist like Amaya.
- Jett is one of the few characters with a multicolored palette, in her case being black, white, and rainbow tones.
