Lily Cheng is an all-around character introduced in 2022. She is a student at Rainbow High and was an exchange student from Pacific Coast High that focuses in Textile Design.
Character Description
Born in San Francisco with family roots in Shanghai, Lily has grown up with the best of both worlds. She spent her childhood going to school in the city and during her summer breaks she would head to China to learn the ropes at her family's textile business. That's where she discovered her love for fashion, patterns, and design. With so much real-world experience at her family's company. she's confident in her talent and creative vision and doesn't try to play it down.

Physical Appearance[]
Lily is a pale skinned East Asian teenage girl with a medium build, and her eyes are brown in color. Her makeup consists of gold glitter eyeshadow and red eyeliner, and her lips are mostly blush red with cherry red in the middle of her lips forming a heart shape. She has black hair decorated with orange and golden tinsels tied into two space buns shaped like ribbons.
Outfit[]
Lily's signature outfit consists of a lucky red qipao with golden brocade flower and tiger embroidery details, and she also wears a gold corset tied with lucky red silk ribbons with studs. She wears various accessories throughout which are popular in her culture, consisting of a matching traditional hand fan, gold Chinese hairpins, gold bracelets with various designs and lucky red earrings designed with Chinese handwriting. Her shoes are lucky red platform sandals with gold details and black soles.
Her second outfit consists of a black bomber jacket with white sleeves with grey embroidery flower details and horse-bit buckles. Under that, she wears a lucky red qipao with golden details and gold trimmings. Her shoes are platform heels with lucky red ribbons as straps and intricate details in platforms.
Personality
Lily is incredibly generous, although competitive at times, she knows that she also has a lot to learn from her super talented classmates.

Lily is an extremely popular name that has Latin and Greek origins. It is a reference to the lily flower, a vast variety of flowers that comes in many different colors.
Cheng[]
Cheng is a well known Chinese surname that goes back thousands of years meaning "accomplishment" or "success".

Karma Nichols[]
Karma is revealed to be friends with Lily, being able to get an exclusive interview with her, as seen on Kontent with Karma. She reveals that she learned all about the Chinese New Year from Lily, revealing this year is the year of the tiger.
Jett Dawson[]
Being very keen on fashion designs, Jett and Lily are revealed to be close friends. Jett in particular talks of Lily's grandmother to Amaya, as she saw how slow and carefully she works.

- Early 2021: A Chinese New Year collector doll listing is leaked.
- July 2021: Lily is subtly teased in The SCENE magazine, Shown in BFF Blowup!
- December 2021: Lily's Doll gets leaked and we see what she looks like.
- December 2021: Lily is introduced on an episode of Kontent With Karma.
- February 1st, 2022: Lily was officially released as a Collector Edition doll.
Trivia
- She's one of the few characters to have confirmed ethnicities, with hers being Chinese.
- Lily is one of the only Collector dolls to be not featured in the animated series.
- She does make some cameo appearances in The Vi Life and in Kontent with Karma, being mentioned or pictured.
- Lily does also make some picture appearances in the show too.
- Her earrings say "fire"（焰）and "tiger" (虎) in English. When put together it is a kind of tiger and as 2022 is the year of the tiger, it makes sense.
- Her clothing is highly inspired by Chinese Culture, with an example being the fact that she wears a qipao.
