"Poppy's First Snow Day!" is the twenty-ninth episode released for the animated series Rainbow High, and the eleventh episode of Season 2.
Official Description
Poppy is SO excited for her first ever snow day! Ice skating, building snowwomen, warming up with rainbow swirl hot cocoa, what's not to love? Poppy is ready to experience the wonders of wintertime, but first everyone has to help set up for their upcoming Wintry Mix Dance Party! Once they're outside, Poppy can't get enough! But she's still learning to skate, so she’d better be careful…
Plot
The episode begins with all the girls outside their dorms getting excited for their break from school, with some students like Bella and Amaya going home for break. Poppy however reveals that she is staying at Rainbow High for the break due to the snow. She also reveals that she has never seen snow and is super excited to experience it. The episode then cuts to later that night where Sunny comes up with the great idea for throw a winter dance party for the school, something her friends agree to.
Poppy is then shown waking up the next morning and being stoked for the snow, changing into her winter break outfit as quick as she can. She then runs out to see Jade, who is helping Marisa on a sculpting art project. She then finds everyone else who are all preparing for the dance party instead of going outside, frustrating Poppy. She does help however and the get the job done. With this out of the way they all head outside to play in the snow.
Going out with Sunny, Skyler, and Violet, Poppy walks on the ice for the first time, immediately slipping. She then learns that ice skating is harder than it looks, and spends the day getting the hang of it. After some time though the girls reveal that they're getting cold and want to head inside, something Poppy disagrees with. She refuses to come inside and the girls let her stay out on the ice alone. The girls then head to the Rainbow Union where they meet with Ruby and Jade, who are terrified to hear Poppy was left alone. They all charge outside to find her stranded on the ice, ending in a heart pounding cliffhanger.

- This is the longest episode of Season 2, having a total running time of 7:45 minutes.
- This is the first time we've seen a whole view of another place other than Rainbow High.
- Although, we have seen a little bit of it in BFF Blowup!, when Avery brings Bella on a joy ride, along with a sketch in The Vi Life.

- Amaya is seen rolling a suitcase, but it later disappeared in the next frame.
- Poppy’s hair strands sometimes move forward and backward between shots.
