Poppy Rowan is Rainbow High’s best DJ!
When she gets inspired to create a new beat, she can’t stop! Now her skills are about to be put to the test: the A’s want Poppy to DJ for Rainbow High’s first dance! Can she create an awesome playlist for the A’s by the end of the day and get all her work done?
Plot
The episode starts with Aidan introducing himself to his Art of Music class as the teacher's assistant. He then introduces the class to Poppy, who he'll be using in his demonstration. He explains how he linked Poppy's turn tables with a box of magnetic filings that will be able to move with her music. She then begins, with her music causing the filings to almost dance, greatly impressing Aidan and the rest of the class. He then calls his best friend Avery, telling her about Poppy's musical talents.
After the class, Poppy leaves to meet up with her friends Sunny and Skyler near their lockers. They each talk about their classes and how much they love them, and Skyler even introduces her boyfriend Colin to Poppy and the audience. He then leaves and the three girls are greeted by The A's, with Avery complimenting Poppy on her music. She then offers Poppy to be able to DJ for their upcoming Color Block Party, something she accepts. Ainsley however does let her know that she first must prove herself and submit a test run.
Poppy gets to work with creating new music, only for her to be interrupted by Jade and Bella, who reveal that she is supposed to be working on her project with her friends. Poppy then reveals that she has been asked by Avery to DJ her party and needs to get to work. She does however need to help her friends decide on a runway look, with Bella having the idea for Poppy to sing her opinion to the best of her music. She does this and the girls decide on their first runway look. Poppy then excitedly goes to Avery and plays her music, with them accepting and everyone celebrating.

- Sheryl makes her debut, however she does not speak.

- Poppy's eyelashes go through her skin in one shot.
- Skyler has a slightly darker skin tone in different shots.
- This is due to the different angles with lighting.
- Bella's hair is a bit lighter in different scenes.
