Series 3 is the third Rainbow High doll line, featuring 5 new characters; (Daria Roselyn, Georgia Bloom, Daphne Minton, Gabriella Icely and Emi Vanda), and fan-favorite background character Sheryl Meyer. It succeeds Series 2 as a signature/basic doll line which features the main Rainbow High students.
It was released October 1st, 2021.

- December 2020: Michael shows head molds of Series 3 in an Instagram post.
- December 2020: Michael confirms Series 3 dolls will have the ability to look up and down.
- December 2020: Michael confirms Series 3 has already been designed and that it would release in 2021.
- December 2020: Michael answers questions on his Instagram story, confirming Series 3 or a future series may include a backgrounder that’s been seen before in the Rainbow High animated series.
- January 2021: Designated theme colors for the characters are leaked by Target Listings.
- April 2021: Series 3 artwork is leaked on Instagram by @dollboy.29
- July 2021: Michael posts a picture of three Rainbow High dolls on Instagram with one matching Series 3 artwork.
- July 2021: Series 3 prototype stock photos are leaked on Instagram.
- October 2021: Series 3 stock photos are released.
- October 1, 2021: Series 3 is officially released.
Trivia
- Series 3 introduces the type 2 body, meaning that it has better articulation, specifically at the neck.
- This series had more quality control issues than Series 1 and 2, due to being rushed out more.
- Series 3 is the first series to release multiple dolls with new molds as 5 out of 6 characters have different head molds.
- This series is often referred as the pastel version of Series 1.
