Return to Rainbow High is the seventy-second episode released for the animated series Rainbow High, and the seventh episode of Season 5.
Official Description
Ruby is heading to Moonbow Kingdom to help Rosetta, who is having trouble with her designs for the Kingdom's winter outfits. Rosetta is confident she doesn't need help, until she finds out that Ruby knows Jewel Richie, her biggest inspiration! Ruby believes Jewel can help them, so they portal jump back to Rainbow High to find her. Can Jewel help inspire Rosetta to finish her designs?
Plot
The episode begins with Ruby and Razzberry entering Moonbow Kingdom through a portal and meeting with Princess Marina. Once there she introduces Ruby to Rosetta, a designer in Rainbow World that is working on a winter collection but having some trouble. Ruby offers to help and mentions Jewel, with her being Rosetta's biggest inspiration. Deciding to take her to Rainbow High, they emerge from a portal as Ruby shows her around, with this leading the girls to finding Jewel working on her designs. Rosetta in particular is ecstatic to have meet Jewel, telling her all about how she's her main inspiration in Rainbow World.
While Jewel is very flattered to hear how she's inspired Rosetta, she unfortunately reveals she has lost her spark and is unable to design anymore. Ruby hears this and gets nervous, with her being unsure of how to tackle this mission. Rosetta pops in and tells Jewel to only design for her own standards and not anyone else's, with this being the inspiration Jewel needs. With Rosetta feeling very happy to help her out, she begins singing the song "This is What You Do!" to her, with Jewel joining her in singing it as well.
When the song is over, Jewel reveals she think she's been getting in her own head too much and needs to relax and design for herself, with her thanking Rosetta one last time before leaving. While Rosetta is ecstatic, Ruby reveals she feels like she failed her mission, with this triggering the song "Sparkleglow" to play and letting her know she didn't fail. Rosetta even opens up and admits she did need help, with this leading the girls back to the kingdom and making Princess Marina very proud of them.

- While it has been established that Rainbow High and Rainbow World are essentially alternative universes, it is unknown how Rosetta would be aware of Jewel's existence and escapades.
- Rosetta's voice actress, Analesa Fisher, is credited as "Analesa Fishe" at the end of the episode.
Other[]
- Jewel being the one to have designed the sleepover outfits fits with an initial rumor that she was going to be included in the doll line Junior High: Pajama Party, with that rumor possibly sparking from the initial description of this episode.
