Etymology
Sapphire is a feminine name of Latin origin, derived from the Latin name Sapphirus which represents a blue stone, and means ‘blue’.
Bradshaw is a surname meaning "broad wood or copse" from the Old English "brad and sceaga". Bradshaw may also come from the character Carrie Bradshaw from Sex and the City; the character was a writer at Vogue magazine.

- She is a silent character with no speaking lines.
- She has a pet yeti named Icicle.
- On one of Sapphire's prototype box, it has a Junior High Skyler artwork for unknown reasons. It may be possible that the original design of the doll was going to be inspired by the Junior High Skyler design, yet this has to be confirmed.
