Totally!

Sheryl Meyer is an all-around character introduced in 2020. She is a student at Rainbow High that focuses in Textile Design.

Character Description

Sheryl's from Beverly Hills, and yes, she's the heiress to a lemon fortune, and yes, she misses her chihuahua and drinking herbal lemon tea on Rodeo Drive while staring longingly into luxury store windows and daydreaming about what her handbag displays will look like one day.

Sheryl is really into her friends, fashion, and obsessing over accessory design. She's super funny, kind of spacy, she always tries to do the right thing, and she's very generous.

Looks

Physical Appearance[]

Sheryl is a fair-skinned teenage girl with a medium build. As of her old style in the animated series, she sports a high dirty blonde ponytail with glittery yellow eyeshadow. Her lipstick is coral red, and her eyes appear to be an aqua color.

In her official artwork and on Season 2, Sheryl's hair is golden blonde with a marigold hue and flows down her back. She wears marigold yellow eyeshadow for her hazel brown eyes and tops it off with a rosy beige shade of lipstick.

Outfit[]

Sheryl's first animated look sports a cropped yellow plaid jacket covering a lighter yellow tank top on top of a white shirt, and a button-up plaid yellow skirt. This takes inspiration from Cher’s outfit in the film “Clueless”, which was from the Junior Gaultier Fall/Winter 1984-1985 collection. She wears white knee-high socks and black heels with yellow straps.

For her new redesigned outfit, Sheryl wears a yellow plaid blazer over the top of a plaid dress, secured at the waist via a gold-buckled black leather belt, with a pleated skirt that features a second tier of short, wider pleating at the hem. This dress and blazer combination appears to reference the Versace Fall 2018 Ready-To-Wear collection, while maintaining the color and patterning used by Junior Gaultier in Cher’s “Clueless” dress. Underneath the dress she wears a white T-shirt with black graphic print. She pairs her outfit with white knee-high socks and ivory-yellow Mary Jane heels detailed with tiny ribbons on the sides of the straps and black platform soles. She accessorizes with gold initial pearl earrings and a black belt with a gold detail.

Sheryl's second outfit consists of a plain white long-sleeved blouse topped with a pale marigold yellow crop sweater vest with embroidered words saying "Rainbow", and a white and black pleated skirt accented with gold ornate patterns. Her shoes are golden strapped heels with stud accents. She accessorizes with a gold headband with white studs shaped with the word "rainbow."

Personality

She appears to be a very clumsy and quirky girl, shown when she accidentally trips on a garment rack and accidentally made their laundry hot pink. She is easy to get along as she is close to her roommates and is very welcoming to Bella Parker.

Etymology

Sheryl[]

Sheryl is taken from the French name Cheryl, with them both meaning "lovely" and "darling".

Meyer[]

Meyer is a common German surname that is spelt in many different ways. In this case however, it is used as a reference to the Meyer lemon, a breed of lemons commonly used in food and drinks.

Relationships

Friends[]

Bella Parker[]

Sheryl is shown to be accepting her new roommate almost immediately as they got along fast. She even spills the tea about their runway group.

Stella Monroe[]

Stella is first shown dramatically pushing Sheryl out of the way in their first appearance, later rectifying it by stating they went out for tea. They are however still shown often annoying each other with their overdramatic personalities, but they are still friends even though they aren't always the happiest with each other.

Daria Roselyn[]

She is roommates with Daria and they seem to be on their good terms.

Gabriella Icely[]

The pair of them seem to be good friends since they are seen hanging out with each other quite often. Sheryl is also one of the few people that get along with Gabriella.

Finn Rosado[]

Finn grew up with Sheryl, resulting in them both being good childhood friends together.
