Somewhere Over the Liquid Rainbow is the sixty-sixth episode released for the animated series Rainbow High, and the first episode of Season 5.
Official Description
The people in Rainbow World need help, they've lost their sparkle! Best friends Bella, Ruby, Poppy, Sunny, Jade, Skyler, Violet, and Amaya have been chosen by Ms. Morton for a very important mission!
But before they can help, there is so much for them to learn about Rainbow World. What is a portal? How do you open a crystal? What adorable pet will they get? What's at the end of the rainbow? Can they figure it out, or will they give up trying?
Plot
The episode begins with Ruby entering the dorms and happily greeting her friends, with the rest of them being much more relaxed. As she talks about the fun day she'll be having, a strange portal begins opening up in the room. Everyone is in shock as Sunny and her pet Sunflower exit the portal and greet everyone. After Sunny briefly explains what happened, everyone else runs through the portal and is transported to Rainbow World. As they enter Ms. Morton greets them and begins explaining why they're there and how this world works.
Ms. Morton continues her speech and tells the girls about liquid rainbow portals, with making these being their goals. To demonstrate, she asks Sunny to begin scratching Sunflower's ear, with this creating a liquid rainbow portal. Out of this portal pops a rainbow that reaches the ground and spawns six more crystals for the rest of the girls. They all go to their crystals and begin bonding with them, with Ruby singing the song "Crystal Clear". Throughout the song, everyone's eggs hatch except for Ruby's, with this leaving her feeling defeated.
Ruby begins to get down on herself before the rest of her friends cheer her up, with them telling her there's no rush for her to hatch her crystal. This support turns Ruby's perspective around, causing her crystal to finally hatch and to introduce Razzberry to everyone. Right after this happens, a giant portal opens as rainbow beams fly around the room and create sparkle dust. After this, Ms. Morton returns and tells everyone about the sparkle dust, as well as giving everyone their own purses. As everyone celebrates with their new pets and purses, the episode ends.

- The episode's title is a reference to the famous movie "The Wizard of Oz". When Amaya says "I don't think we're in Rainbow High anymore", it is another reference to this movie's famous line "I don't think we're in Kansas anymore".
