Stuck in the Rainbow With Sunny is the seventy-eighth episode released for the animated series Rainbow High, and the thirteenth and final episode of Season 5.
Official Description
Sunny has an amazing discovery while portal jumping through Rainbow World: she can collect liquid rainbow and use it to color and create new outfits! She wants everyone to try, but it's almost time for the Color Block Party, and they need to get back to Rainbow High. Poppy and Ruby decide to stay in the portal with Sunny, and they're having so much fun creating new, colorful looks! But oh no! The rainbow portal is starting to close! Will the girls find a way out and join their friends for the party?
Plot
The episode begins with Sunny traveling in a rainbow portal. While doing so, she discovers a new ability where she can scoop up the rainbow liquid from the portal. She tells her friends about this new feature and demonstrates it in a bathtub, surprising everyone. Then, Ruby's phone alarm rings indicating they have an hour left before the second annual Color Block Party. The other girls go to their dorm rooms to get dressed up for the party while Ruby, Poppy and Sunny stay behind exploring the inside of the portal. Sunflower exits the portal and is greeted by Skyler, concerned by the other 3 being stuck in the portal. Bella then saves Ruby, Poppy and Sunny by crashing her portal onto theirs and they return to their dorm room. Later, Sparkleglow is played one last time for the season, and all eight of the girls are ready for their next prom. The rainbow portal is shown again but deep inside it's getting infected by a green substance with an evil laugh heard in the background, and Season 5 officially ends with this cliffhanger.
