The Fortress of Snowballs is the seventy-seventh episode released for the animated series Rainbow High, and the twelfth episode of Season 5.
Official Description
It’s Kira's birthday, and the girls are portal-jumping to a winter wonderland, ready to celebrate her special day! But when they arrive, they find Kira stuck in a tower!
She tried to make the snow extra sparkly with sparkle glow, but instead, she brought the snowmen to life! Now, they won’t let Kira out or anyone else in. Can the Shimmers work together to bring Kira down and celebrate her birthday?
Plot
The episode starts with Sunny and Skyler with a finished birthday gift that they made for Kira's birthday party, with Violet and Bella entering their dorm room, complimenting about it. So they all travel to where the party takes place. As they arrive, they notice a tower not far from them, thinking Kira might be in there. With that said, as they were about to enter the tower, Kira's snowman decorations that came alive would not let them in. Skyler hears from Kira that she accidently used the sparkleglow to make the snowmen come to life. Sunny sees the sparkleglow on one of the snowman's back. Later, they come up with a plan on having a snowball fight with the snowmen, with Skyler singing "Bring On The Snow". As the fight ends, they were going to take the sparkleglow off one of the snowmen, but another snowmen grabbed their hands, preventing them from doing it. Then, Sunny came up with the idea of having their pets hidden in a snowball and have one of the snowmen push it up to the top of the tower to save Kira. Eventually, Kira got out of the tower, and then, without the snowmen noticing, they were able to remove the sparkleglow from them and destroy them. Finally, they all celebrate by having a snowball fight together.

- The song Sparkleglow does not play at the end of the episode, despite most of the episode is set in Rainbow World.
