The Good Princess is the seventieth episode released for the animated series Rainbow High, and the fifth episode of Season 5.
Official Description
Poppy and Amaya are portal-jumping to meet Princess Marina of Moonbow Kingdom. Marina wants to be the best princess she can be and help others shine, but doesn't know where to start because everything is always done for her! Luckily, the Shimmers are here to teach her that she can do things on her own and if she follows her heart, she will make herself, and others happy!
Plot
The episode starts in Moonbow Kingdom with Princess Marina telling the audience about her morning routine, with it being very clear that her many pets do nearly everything for her. As she continues, she talks about wishing to be more independent, specifically talking about wanting to ring the bells. As she says this Amaya and Poppy emerge from a portal, with them introducing themselves. They then ask Princess Marina if she needs help, with Poppy taking her for a walk and Amaya deciding to watch over her throne for her.
After this Princess Marina and Poppy join together to make lemonade, with Princess Marina being eager to help but unsure of the steps. Poppy helps her out and they end up making great lemonade, with Princess Marina being proud of herself for doing something on her own for once. Meanwhile in the castle, Amaya accidentally breaks the frame with the rules, revealing a final rule no one had seen before. After this, Princess Marina shows Poppy the bells, with her wanting to ring them. Poppy convinces her to do so anyway, leading to the girls singing the song "Ring The Bell", with this showing Princess Marina she can do things for herself and still be a great princess.
With this realization, both girls head back to the thrown where they find Amaya who reveals she accidentally broke the frame and gives Princess Marina the paper. She then reads it and finds out the final rule is that she should eventually do things for herself. Feeling happy she thanks the girls and hugs the paper as the song "Sparkleglow" plays, marking a successful mission. After this, Poppy and Amaya open up a final portal and begin to leave, with Amaya letting her know she's always available to watch the throne, and on this playful note the episode ends.
