"The Haunting of Rainbow High" is the twenty-sixth episode released for the animated series Rainbow High, and the eighth episode of Season 2.

Ms. Wright gives an ominous introduction to the school's next big assignment-RADIANT WEEK!! … But… what is Radiant Week? The first years have no idea, and nobody will tell them. Skyler is freaked out about this mysterious project, and the De'Vious Twins tell her a spooky story about a Radiant Week where a student had a meltdown and roamed the halls like a ghost, scaring all the first years 🧟♀️ Good thing Skyler doesn't believe in ghost stories… until REALLY creepy things start happening around school and Poppy goes MISSING! 😱 Is there a dark side to Rainbow High?
Plot
The episode begins with Sunny happily entering her dorm, only to accidentally scare Skyler awake. When she goes to her, Skyler reveals she is terrified and doesn't know where Poppy is. She begins to tell her story, where she first learned about the new project of Radiant Week, with Holly and Laurel finding a way to manipulate Skyler and scare her. Feeling anxious, Skyler walks through the hallways and gets shocked by a locker that flies open, terrifying her.
Imaging it to be a ghost, Brianna pops out and reveals she was working on her locker and scared her on accident. Feeling better, Skyler and Poppy make their way to the atrium, only to see the school's unicorn statue vandalized. The twins tell everyone about it, and Skyler begins believing there truly is a ghost at Rainbow High causing these problems. Holly and Laurel then tell Skyler to meet in the halls that night, where they begin trying to film the ghost.
She begins filming and all the lights start sparking and flickering, setting the dark mood. Suddenly Poppy is dragged away and Skyler is met by The Assistant who is dressed like a monster, scaring her back to her dorm. She then falls asleep and is awoken by Poppy and The Assistant, with Poppy telling her that the twins planned the whole thing. Feeling annoyed, Skyler and her friends convince The Assistant to scare the twins back in revenge. After this he continues to be rude while the girls leave, coincidentally scaring him and ending the episode.

- The episode's official description makes a grammatical error, not placing a space between an ellipsis and the next word.
- When Laurel and Holly wonder why the lights keep flickering, just before the camera switches to Poppy, one frame isn't rendered.
- In this frame, Holly appears with purple instead of blue/green hair for unknown reasons.
- In the same shot, when the camera switches back to Laurel poiting something, the latter's eyes and make-up aren't properly rendered.

- The scene of Holly and Laurel holding hands and walking to Skyler is a reference to the horror film "The Shining", referencing their iconic set of twins.
- In some other international channels such as Rainbow High France, Italy, or Spain, this episode has switched position with "The 12 Hour Countdown!", making this episode the 9th episode of Season 2 instead of the 8th. Also, the thumbnails sometimes get switched around, using this episodes as the 9th, and The 12 Hour Countdown! one for this episode.
