"The Jett Dawson" is the twenty-first episode released for the animated series Rainbow High, and the third episode of Season 2.
Official Description
Jett Dawson is BACK from her internship studying the art of fabric in Asia, and rumors are FLYING about her incredible time overseas. Jett wastes absolutely no time making her entrance back in the halls of Rainbow High, and taking her place as a student-teacher for the first year fashion students, who are meeting her—and her reputation—for the first time. Jett has incredibly high standards for fashion—she’s a brilliant designer, and has a rare double-focus in textile design. Can the first years keep up, or will they be left hanging on by a thread?
Plot
One day at school, the De’Vious twins announce Jett Dawson’s return to Rainbow High, leaving everyone in awe. Stella explains to Amaya about Jett Dawson, who is a fourth-year that has been gone the last few months for a textile internship in Asia. She got to study fabrics in China, Nepal, and Japan while overseas. Another first-year, Gabriella Icely comments on how amazing her trip is while giving off a rude attitude towards Amaya. While rumors are going around about Jett’s internship, Karma knows for a fact that Jett will be teaching the Art of Fashion first-years today, leaving them in excitement.
In the auditorium, Jett introduces herself to the fashion students. In class, she instructs the students to turn a basic fabric on a mannequin into utter couture. Amaya finishes her design early, but Jett points out how rushed it is. Gabriella mocks Amaya for her fast pace and her original position on the waitlist. Amaya eventually listens to Jett’s words and decides to slow down and redo her dress while Gabriella presents her work to Jett. Amaya continues to finish the dress and presents it, with extra layers and gold accents added throughout. Jett is proud of Amaya taking her words to heart and shares about her time on the waitlist as well, shocking Gabriella.
