Plot
In Journalism class, Krystal Bailey assigns Violet to write an article about the history of the Rainbow High Crest for The SCENE. Violet notices Ms. Wright wearing a crest and she explains how it can be earned by finding the hidden Rainbow High Archive. The only clue given is “every student has the map that tells where to start”.
Violet explains the whole situation to Sunny and they decide to search for the Archive together. Following their first clue on the map of the student rule book, the girls arrive at the school’s unicorn statue and with Daphne Minton’s help, waited until high noon for the sunlight to shine on the statue, reflecting off a rainbow beam pointing towards a classroom. Inside the classroom, they find a hairdryer and use it to reveal invisible ink on the map. Over the course of the day, Violet and Sunny followed the clues written on the map.
By the end of the day, their last clue is “what colors are every color”. Searching the lockers, they eventually find a locker with a lock that contains colors instead of numbers. Sunny and Violet enter the primary colors and walk inside, where they finally found the Rainbow High Archive and Ms. Wright presents them with their own crests. The following day, Violet finally writes an article on the Rainbow High Crest and Archive.
