"The Rainbow Union" is the twenty-fifth episode released for the animated series Rainbow High, and the seventh episode of Season 2.
Official Description
The only trouble is... she's broke! Maybe she can apply for a job at the Rainbow Union and earn some money for the shoes? You don't know if you don't try! As it turns out, Kia has been looking for someone like Ruby to help! But this job is WAY harder than it looks! 😩 Ruby mixes up orders, clashes with the De'Vious Twins, and even spills a drink on... we won't even dare to say! 🤐 Will Kia keep Ruby, or decide they’re not a match?
Plot
Ruby has been gazing on a new pair of sneakers from the Rainbow Union for weeks, but is unable to buy them because she’s broke. She immediately heard to the Union after hearing Jade mentioning hiring applications and all employees are given discounts. Ruby asks the head employee, Kia Hart, to apply and offers to test her. Her first assignment is to make a swirl design for their signature Rainbow Latte but she fails miserably. She takes the drinks to the De’Vious twins, who were unimpressed. Ruby next work on cashier duty and sees Stella and Georgia purchasing the sneakers she wanted and quickly takes them away, much to the girls’ annoyance. Gabriella becomes upset when Ruby delivers her a hot drink that has already been cooled down.
Later, Ruby sadly sweeps and whistles, giving inspiration to Daria, who is trying to write a song. She then delivers a latte to Emi, who uses it to finish her painting. She also gives additional advice to Gabriella to design uniforms to impress her crush, but accidentally spills an iced drink on Ms. Wright. After her test, Kia hires Ruby despite how much she messed up, as she knows it is only Ruby’s first day and she can still learn overtime. Kia tells Ruby she is very good at connecting with costumers and she will learn the rest along the way. Ruby's friends also show up to surprise her and they all celebrate with croissants.

- The Rainbow Union front door seems to disappear when Ruby enters the back.
- Stella disappears when Georgia almost tries to buy Ruby’s favorite shoes, and her hair is only seen. The door overlaps her appearance also. In the Netflix version, this error is fixed.
