Violet Willow is a all-around character introduced in 2020. She is a student at Rainbow High that focuses in Digital Media.
Character Description
Every school needs a diva, and Violet was born for the role. She makes sure her style is the star by choosing showstopping pieces with luxury details and plenty of bling. When she came to Rainbow High, she was already an influencer with hundreds of thousands of fans. Now, she's filming all the drama inside RH drama for her followers cuz everyone is dying for the inside scoop.
Her style ensures that she’s camera ready 24/7. She loves luxe, luxe and more luxe, and she appreciates all the detail that goes into a couture piece so that it stands out from the crowd. Her style tends towards dramatic shapes, eye-catching fabrics and of course, shoes that announce a true star has arrived.

Physical Appearance
Violet is a fair-skinned teenager with a medium build. She has lavender, hip-length hair partially pulled up into a high ponytail decorated with streaks of silver and periwinkle. Her large, blue eyes are framed by her blunt fringe. Her makeup typically consists of shimmery purple eyeshadow, contour emphasizing her natural cheekbones, and nude lipstick.[2] She gravitates towards luxurious, show-stopping couture styles that feature "plenty of bling."[3]
In the animated series, Violet's hair is colored with a deeper tone of purple with streaks of silver and periwinkle.
Outfits
Violet's original signature outfit consists of a lavender iridescent sequined mini dress with a halter neckline. Over it, she wears a shimmery purple jacket covered in large horizontal sections of plush, faux purple fur. Her shoes are purple sandals with pearls decorating the chunky heel, accessorized with shimmery ankle socks.
Violet's Series 1 second outfit consists of a short, lavender dress with a sweetheart neckline, white straps with the word "RAINBOW" repeating on them in black text, and a bow on the chest. The skirt is covered with a poufy tulle overlay decorated with silver gems. Around the waist, she has a bow tied with a ribbon identical to the dress straps that extends down to the floor. Over the dress, she wears a pinkish-purple faux leather moto jacket with a cropped fit. Her shoes are purple clunky heeled sandals with a ribbon strap tied into a bow around her ankle.
When dressing casually, Violet is seen wearing a black, short-sleeved crop top with a lavender denim bustier top layered over it. It is paired with a pastel lilac denim skirt. Violet's bustier has a pale-gold safety pin on her left side with a charm-decorated chain spelling "RAINBOW". She wears the same socks from her signature outfit and the same shoes from her secondary outfit.
Violet's cheer uniform consists of a lavender and white tank top with black stripes and the number "34", and a jacket-like white iridescent hoodie worn over it. She wears a lavender skirt with purple knots and a white belt-like stripe on the top of the skirt with the word "RAINBOW" on it. For her footwear, she wears ankle-high tube socks, lavender and white athletic sneakers with a stiletto heel. Her hair is tied into a straight ponytail and her bangs are pulled back. She also wears a lavender and white bow with "RH" printed on it. Her makeup consists of purple eyeshadow and eyeliner, bright pink lipstick, and face paint that consists of "R" on her left cheek "H" on her right cheek.
In her runway outfit, Violet wears a lavender dress with straps of lilac feathers on her shoulders. She also has matching lilac feathers on the bottom of the dress, and pearls all around the dress. In the alternate version of her runaway outfit her dress becomes longer and adds more lilac feathers at the bottom. For her footwear she wears shiny lavender shoes that contain feathers and clear straps. Her makeup consists of shimmery purple eyeshadow, purple eye liner, and nude-pink lipstick. Her hair is put up in a twisted ponytail and her bangs are twisty curtain bangs with pearls on the top of her head.
For Violet's first Winter Break outfit, she wears a light purple sleeveless turtleneck underneath a cropped purple jacket with a quilt pattern decorated with pearls. She also wears a faux fur hoodie with fur on the ends of the sleeves. She wears a matching purple skirt with a quilt pattern and fur on the bottom. She pairs this with stockings and light purple ice skates with fur on the top. She accessorizes with light purple ear muffs and removable white earrings. Violet's hair is long and wavy at the ends, being a mix of blue and purple. She has glittery gold eyeshadow, red winged eyeliner, light pink lips, and a small amount of light pink blush.
For her second Winter Break outfit, she has a pearly crop top, a light purple faux suede pleated skirt, and a matching jacket with fur around the neckline and faux silver buttons. She pairs this with boots with have white fur on the top and painted details.
Her Junior High outfit consists of a white buttoned up long sleeve shirt with a violet cardigan covering it up. She has a plaid purple skirt with white thigh high socks. Her shoes are white high heals with pink bottoms. Her hair is light purple with streaks of a darker purple, white, and lilac, pulled up into two high pigtails with fluffy scrunchies, and has bangs that hide her eyebrows. She has glittery white eyeshadow with nude lip gloss.
For her Rainbow World outfit, Violet wears a purple skirt with sparkly purple sequins on it and an iridescent purple shirt tied around her waist. She also wears purple sandals. Her hair is now completely curly with no ties.
Violet's Swim and Style outfit consists of a one piece swimsuit composed of three different layers in different shades of lilac and purple, and purple sparkly high-heeled sandals. She also wears large light purple sunglasses and accesorises with a light purple beach bag.
Personality
With such a large following, Violet's personality tends to revolve around her social media. She always has release forms on hand and her camera ready to capture any important moments. Even in high-stress situations, Violet can usually be seen recording or pondering how she can spin the moment for an episode of The Vi Life. While this can cause her to come off as insensitive or oblivious at times, it also makes her exceptionally friendly and charismatic. She also knows when to step down and allow someone else to tell their story, as seen when she lets Skyler and Ruby rehash the cheating drama with Colin on her vlog.
Violet is someone who has big plans for the future. She greatly admires those who are more notable than her, rather than showing envy or jealousy, and wishes nothing more than to join them in the spotlight. Despite her dramatic tendencies, she's shown to be a very practical person who handles pressure well. Having the online platform she does, she's no stranger to criticism and has learned not to lose her head over every negative comment.
On occasion, Violet can be somewhat inconsiderate of the feelings of others, showcasing this when she wanted to branch out and make new friends, lying to Sunny about requesting the same dorm room so that she could room with a different group of girls. She also seemed to be more concerned with her follower account than focusing on group schoolwork after Bella's departure. Despite so, her friendship with Sunny was mended in no time, and she was among the friendliest and most welcoming in the group towards Amaya.
However, she admitted her mistakes in "I'm Sorry…" and became a better person, and Bella forgave her in "Is Amaya Crushing on River Kendall?".

Amethyst is Violet's younger sister. Violet got very worried about Amethyst at first as she thinks she might mess up the talent show. However, at the end, Violet understands Amethyst's idea and she is proud of her for being ready to perform the school's talent show.
Friends
Sunny Madison
Sunny and Violet are very close, as the two have been friends since they were young children, their moms are friends, so they've known each other forever. Sunny always hypes up The Vi Life and congratulates her on important milestones, while Violet is always there to compliment Sunny's exceptional creativity. Violet however, broke her trust when she didn't send the papers to get their rooms together because Violet wanted to meet new people. But, they made up later and are still very close and are great best friends.
Amaya Raine
Violet was the second to accept Amaya as part of the group, and they share a dorm room. Although they didn't exactly get along at first, the two are now close friends, Violet learning that Amaya was a fan.
Ruby Anderson
Violet also rooms with Ruby, although she has a rough relationship with her. Ruby and Violet seemed to get along at first, with Ruby being a fan. However, when Bella's expulsion video went viral, her and Jade were mad at Violet and posted a video of the Buddy Bubble Boogie. They eventually make it up to each other and are still good friends.
Jade Hunter
Like Ruby, Jade and Violet always seem to be on opposing ends of arguments, especially when Bella is involved. During "Going Viral", Jade was especially mad at Violet for posting the video. However, they made up so they are assumed to be on friendly terms, even if it is a little tense.
Poppy Rowan
Though they don't interact much, they seem to get along well together quite well. They are also apart of the same runway group.
Skyler Bradshaw
Like her relationship with Poppy, Violet doesn't talk to Skyler overly often, however, the two of them are seen getting along well.
Bella Parker
At the beginning of show they had a friendly relationship, but when Bella gets expelled, Violet instantly starts interviewing Amaya Raine, seeming to replace Bella. This makes Bella very upset, as it feels like she is being replaced instantly and like she had never mattered at all. Their relationship is further strained when Violet posts Bella's expulsion on her vlog, though she takes it down after Jade and Ruby make her realize how much it hurt Bella. Then after that they both made up with each other and Violet posts an apology video on The Vi Life. However, they seem to have made up as when Bella returns, Violet is very happy to see her.
River Kendall
Violet was with the other girls trying to get River to like Amaya. Later, River worked as her co-host on Rainbow Vision TV. However, their plan didn't work. When he got kicked out, Violet was upset - mainly because Phaedra was her co-host.
Enemies
Colin
Violet is on full bad terms with Colin, due to him attempting to cheat on Skyler with Ruby. She puts footage of him on her show despite him saying he wants it deleted, and even edits footage of him to draw clown features on his face.

Phaedra Westward
Phaedra is Violet's new co-host, and it is easily implied that they are not always on good terms. Violet considered Phaedra and others from Pacific Coast High and Shadow High her enemies because they aren't from her school. However, after some time, she is seen comfortable with Phaedra.

Like all other first years, Violet seems to be really fond of the A's. She also loves Avery's fashion designs.
Karma Nichols
Though they should be rivals, Violet seems to regard Karma with a lot of respect, and has expressed interest in collaborating with her. It's still unknown if Karma feels the same way but she did give her show The Vi Life a shout out, saying that it is cute in Episode 4 "The De'Vious Twins Spill the Tea! Yass Boo!".

Violet
Violet is a girls' name of French origin that comes from the purple flower "viola", or meaning purple in its Latin origins.
Willow
Willow is an uncommon surname that is derived from the willow tree, perhaps referencing the purple willow.
